Platform wars with the artificial intelligence Grupo Milenio

For some experts, Google has been slow to react to the rapid advances of Artificial Intelligence applications, particularly GPT Chat and Microsoft’s Bing search engine, however, the steps taken by the search engine king are consistent but cautious. .

In its experimental phase, Google has allowed interested users to interact with its technology, which it calls Bard, to navigate the interface, provide their point of view and learn about their experience, at the same time, the technology “learns” query dynamics and improves results.

“I have limitations and I won’t always do well, but your comments will help me get better,” the platform warns.

While initially the testing possibility was only open to users from the United States and United Kingdom, on May 10 it was announced the expansion of spectrum to more than 180 countries, including Mexico.

In the platform wars, every upgrade, every service extension, is a battle won. So Bard has announced that some of the responses will be accompanied by images, to provide users with a more complete experience.

In the same way, a query can be accompanied by a picture so that the answer is more precise or an illustration is requested.

Google is putting all the meat on the grill, by integrating the capabilities of its applications such as documents, drive, Gmail and more, for the management or manipulation of results. In the same way, it integrates the Adobe Firefly system, Adobe’s generative artificial intelligence interface so that the resulting images or designs are of high quality and easy to edit or manipulate with their packaging.

In addition to relevant adjustments, Google may be waiting for legislative initiatives that have been implemented and made more stringent in various countries.

The European Parliament, for example, developed a clause so that generative, both text and images, must have a legend that it was created with artificial intelligence tools.

This follow-up legislative proposal is based on the fact that Artificial Intelligence “will stalk us in some way for the rest of our lives”, whose approval and adoption will become an inevitable model for the rest of the world to set healthy boundaries. .
