What is it has spread to Europe and England a tool that allows the creation of a custom avatars from a photo, to offer users a different way to express themselves in conversation.
Avatars have been around in the Meta instant messaging app for some time, where users have the option to do so create one manually to later use this virtual representation in profile photos or as ‘stickers’.
Manually, the application allows you to customize the avatar to the user’s image, choosing skin tone, hairstyle, color, shape and width of the face. Now, it is also possible to create avatars from selfies, a function that Meta started enabling in Europe and the UK this Monday, as reported in a press release.
This way, users just have to do it taking a photo. From there, it’s application will display suggestions avatars so that users can choose one and can personalize it “even better” so that it “represents them better”.
So far, and as they transmit from WhatsApp, More than a billion avatars have been created. The purpose of avatars is for users to “better express themselves” in conversations, as avatars allow great customization and can transmit different feelings or emotions like ‘stickers’.
