A Mexican hotel has joined the global portfolio of Preferred Hotels & Resorts, after announcing that it has 6 new members.
The independent luxury hotel group represents more than 650 resorts and residences located in 80 countries, all with personalized experiences.
1.Gallery Plaza Monterrey in Nuevo León. With a scheduled opening date of March 2023, this hotel tower is located in the financial district of Monterrey. With panoramic views of the Cerro de la Silla national monument, this new member of Preferred Hotels & Resorts Mexico combines avant-garde and minimalist design with comfort and technology in 196 luxurious rooms, six lofts and two master suites. Guests will enjoy a swimming pool and lounge, fire pit terrace, full-service spa, state-of-the-art fitness center and two restaurants offering local and international cuisine under the direction of Executive Chef Guy Santoro.
2. The Elser Hotel & Residences in Florida, United States. Located in the heart of downtown Miami, new luxury tower with 49 floors and 646 suites and studios It was designed by Sieger Suarez Architects. It has views of Biscayne Bay which can be appreciated from the comfort of the hammocks at the pool, the sundeck and in the garden.
3. Cunning Berlin in Germany. Located in the Friedrichshain neighborhood, the hotel, which will open in the summer of 2023, combines indoor and outdoor spaces in four buildings including a greenhouse. Comprising 150 rooms and suites with balconies or terraces, the grounds blend nature and urban culture with solid oak, Italian serpentine stone, stainless steel and brutal concrete.
4. Castlemartyr Resort in Cork, Ireland. Situated in 220 acres of ancient Mitchell Woods in southern Ireland, the estate has historical links to Sir Walter Raleig, the Boyle family and Earls Shannon and Oliver Cromwell. This is a 17th-century mansion with 106 rooms and suites, and 36 luxury self-catering cottages for an experience in the beautiful Cork countryside, near the Celtic Sea. Terre Restaurant and Canopy Restaurant are under the direction of Chef Kevin Burke.
5. Virgin Hotel Edinburgh in Scotland, England. The interior design blends traditional Victorian architecture with clean and contemporary designs. This pet-friendly hotel reinterprets traditional Scottish luxury in its 222 rooms and suites, restaurant and event space. One of the highlights is that Greyfriar’s Hall, a 19th-century church used for events, has a roof that offers views of Edinburgh Castle.
6.Borgobrufa SPA Resort in Umbria, Italy. Amid olive groves, orchards and vineyards, this adults-only hotel has 49 rooms and suites – some with private Jacuzzis and Finnish saunas – with wooden floors, beamed ceilings and panoramic views. The 3,000-sqm spa features heated indoor and outdoor pools. It also stands out for its two restaurants, its winery with more than 350 wines, and outdoor activities.
