Public Prosecutor: The accused in the murder of Valon Avdyli was caught after more than a year on the run

On Thursday 7 October, Hamse Hashi Adan was shot dead as he stood with several others outside the Lofsrud school in Mortensrud.
The brothers of terror convicts Valon and Visar Avdyli from Bærum are wanted internationally and charged with murder. A third person has also been charged in the case.
Now that Valon’s eldest brother has been captured, the sheep VG enlightened.
– Those who were left behind are certainly relieved by the progress and have been looking forward to this. They feel confident that the police have been continuing their investigation all along. Now they hope that their other brother will come forward, and they can end this very difficult criminal case for them, attorney Catharina Cecilie Gjesti told VG.
Gjesti told TV 2 that the survivors had been informed that the police had control over Valon Avdyli and would be arrested on Tuesday.
According to VG, he has been imprisoned in Turkey on the grounds of illegal residency. He has now been sent abroad and is on his way to Norway, the newspaper said.
TV 2 has reached out to Volon Avdyli defender Svein Holden, who would not comment on the information.
The police wrote in a press release that they would inform about the case at 5.30pm on Tuesday. No comment will be made in the case until then, police wrote.
