Rosenborg – Bodø/Glimt – Beat the old club

Rosenborg – HamThurs 2-1 (1-1)

Kjetil Rekdal’s Rosenborg are the clear favorites before tonight’s game against HamKam in Lerkendal.

The hosts also got a fine start to the game when debutant Casper Tengstedt scored. RBK should have extended their lead in the first half, but Kristian Onsrud equalized for “Kamma”.

Thus the scoreboard shows 1-1 at the break.

In the second half, the good pressure from Rosenborg continued, but the visitors defended bravely. After a number of good chances, Rosenborg finally scored.

Erlend Dahl Reitan served Ole Christian Ster, who poked the ball into the net.

– It was an amazing experience. That’s what I dreamed yesterday when I went to sleep. It was a good ball from Carlo (Holse), and hopefully it’s one of many. This is a fantastic team and they welcomed me. “It was a good game, and good to score goals,” goalscorer Tengstedt told Discovery.

– It would be robbery if HamKam left with points. “It’s a bad team to play against, I know all about it,” said Rekdal after the game.

Coach Rosenborg was also satisfied with debutant Tengstedt:

– We have great confidence in him. We’ve been following him for a long time, and there we are: We have to pick up those who are just below the best, those who have broken through,

Rosenborg started the game really well and after 14 minutes Casper Tengstedt had a dream start to his RBK career. Carlo Holse served Tengstedt who easily outwitted Hagen at home to HamKam.

Rosenborg created some good chances and should have extended the lead, but the visitors from Hamar capitalized on the home side’s missed opportunity.

After 32 minutes, Jonas Enkerud gave the ball to Kristian Onsrud, who slotted the ball into the net from about eleven meters away.

– This is a fantastic shot from Onsrud, commentator Kenneth Fredheim said live.

Just before the break, RBK should have taken the lead, but goalscorer Tengstedt was unable to capitalize on the good chance.

Weaken

After the team change, Rosenborg’s massive pressure continued, but the hosts couldn’t beat Hagen.

Kongsro, Kurucay and Megalvis showed defensive class for HamKam, but they soon experienced tough working conditions. Tengstedt Rosenborg was fouled by Opsahl and the referee gave defender HamKam a red card.

After 62 minutes, Sam Rogers should have put the ball in the net but the centre-back wasted a chance.

– No excuses here. The ball has to go into the net, says commentator Jonas Grønner.

Soon after, it was Tengstedt’s goal scorer who got his chance, but Hagen held on with a brilliant save!

But Rosenborg will finally get paid! Erlend Dahl Reitan provided a brilliant cross for Ole Ster, who poked the ball into the net.

The score means the hosts have collected three new points.
