FDI in CdMx

According to the federal government, during the first half of the year, the country seized 27 thousand 511.6 million rupiah in Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).

“In the first quarter of 2022, FDI in Mexico City was 7 thousand 973.2 million dollars; 41 percent of all FDI) received domestically and an all-time high for the city. Of this total investment received, 69 percent were new investments and 28.3 percent were profit reinvestments, a sign of the confidence that investors have in this country and in Mexico City,” said Claudia Seinbaum’s Fourth Government Report.

In 2018, the UK became Mexico’s sixth commercial partner, between members of the European Union.
