He highlighted Siemens’ commitment to promote and support the energy transition in the worldthrough the circular economy model and the use of solar resources to decarbonize the economy, and being able to attend energy demand that will bring about the country’s population growth by 2050.
Meanwhile, the Secretary for Sustainable Development, Third Prete Frameworkrecognizes the decarbonization strategy adopted by German companies, based on five areas of action: decarbonized industrial heat and process, energy storage, power-to-x, robust grid and reliability.
“We will work hand in hand to come up with a strategy that allows us to be more competitive in the energy sector, and we also share environmental concerns as a priority through the decarbonization process,” said Del Prete.
And he highlighted that in Queretaro 12 actions implemented to reduce the decarbonization trajectory in which energy supply and demand items are addressed through electricity production on-site renewables, production and use of renewable fuels; on-site renewable heat production, electrical energy efficiency, vehicle electrification, agroforestry systems and grazing land regeneration.
