MADRID, 2 (EUROPEAN PRESS)
Banco Santander has launched, together with the Santander International Entrepreneurship Center (Cise), the XVI edition of the Explorer program for young entrepreneurship for projects in the pre-incubation phase, which the US and Germany will participate in this year, bringing the number of participating countries to ten, as reported by the bank through a press release.
Explorer, which is 12 weeks in duration, allows participants to connect with the international community, receive online and face-to-face training with a ‘learn by doing’ methodology, mentoring by experts, presenting their business ideas and developing skills to turn them into viable and sustainable solutions. The registration period ends on December 13th.
Since 2009, nearly 10,000 projects from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, the UK and Uruguay have participated. In the case of Spain, about 7,000 projects have participated.
As of the last issue, a total of 1,045 entrepreneurial ideas from 75 universities signed up for the program to have access to tools and opportunities to connect with other professionals. In addition, the bank highlighted that women’s participation reached 42.6%, exceeding the previous call average, which was around 30%.
