With the death of Queen Elizabeth II some multinational brands may be forced to change their packaging in the UK.
(Isabel II, symbol of stability in times of crisis).
Companies like Heinz, Johnnie Walker, Coca-Cola and Martiniamong many others, will go in to redesign their label as they are creditors of ‘Royal Appointment Order’, seal with royal authorization as the supplier of the British Royal House, granted by the king.
Johnnie Walker, is one of the brands with the Royalty seal.
And with the death of the queen, and the coronation of Carlos III as the new king, all the companies that previously owned royal order they had to ask it again from the new king and show that they had “provided a product or service on a regular and ongoing basis to the Royal Family for no less than five of the last seven years”, according to the guidelines.

However, the brand can continue to use the shield for two years, so many companies will remain unchanged until the king gives them another acknowledgment.
