The Chancellor held a bilateral meeting with the United Kingdom’s Minister of America and the Caribbean

The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Julio César Arriola Ramírez, today had a bilateral meeting with David Rutley, Minister for the Americas and the Caribbean, from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, who is participating as Head of the British Delegation at the 53rd Regular Session of the General Assembly of the Organization States of America (OAS) held in Washington, DC, United States of America.

During the meeting, Foreign Minister Arriola and Foreign Minister Rutley alluded to the importance of seeking a political consultation and agreement mechanism to strengthen relations between the two countries.

Similarly, Minister Rutley commented on the potential for UK investment in Paraguay, especially in terms of green hydrogen.

At the same time, he indicated that he would participate in the Transmission of the Presidential Command scheduled for August 15 this year in our country.
