Premium home appliance manufacturer Miele has become the first customer to receive five fully personalized Volkswagen IDs. Van Buzz Cargo, specifically to meet the needs of the company.
Miele GB, a manufacturer of high-quality eco-friendly home appliances, has been awarded one of the five all-electric IDs. Van Buzz Cargo, which will form part of its UK customer service and aftercare fleet.
Miele’s special feature wish list includes a dedicated shelving system designed to meet service employee requirements for storing materials, parts, and tools. A center console with integrated folding table has also been installed as a driver’s workstation. The personalization of the vehicle was carried out as part of a co-development process between Miele, conversion partner Würth and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
Craig Cavanagh, National Fleet Manager for Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, said: “With the expansion of the ULEZ zone and efforts to meet strict net-zero emissions targets by 2050, there is a growing urgency to reduce emissions on roads by delivering products and services.

“We have only just started this journey, but this is something we are very excited about. In the coming years, we intend to purchase even more electric and hydrogen vehicles.”
Recently named ‘2023 International Truck of the Year,’ ID. Buzz Cargo is a “workhorse” from ID. The Buzz family, available to purchase in two trim levels, Commerce and Commerce Plus, offers business-ready practicality, providing all-electric power without compromise.
