‘Trolls 2’, ‘Tom and Jerry’, ‘Roal Dahl’s Witches’ and ‘The Boss Baby’ to play

This Tuesday the ‘Movie Nights’ cycle crosses the equator and will screen the eleventh of 20 films programmed this summer by the Pamplona City Council in the city’s parks, squares and open public spaces. It will be at Plaza Arriurdiñeta de Txantrea at 10pm with free admission. The proposal is aimed at family audiences with the film ‘Trolls 2. World Tour’ (US, 2020, 90′), the animated sequel to the blockbuster fantasy film that signed the Dreamworks factory in 2016.
Poppy and Branch, the protagonists of a colorful and musical plot, discover that their tribe of Trolls is just one of six in a similar kingdom that alternately chooses funk, country, techno, classical, pop, and rock.
On Wednesday, August 17th, the city projector will move to Plaza Doctor Gortari in San Jorge to broadcast in Basque with the children’s classic Spanish subtitles ‘Tom and Jerry / Tom eta Jerry’ (US, 2021, 101′). The cat and mouse will explain throughout the development of the film how they met and the origin of their rivalry. This is an adaptation of the classic Hanna-Barbera property, a cartoon from several generations.
