The United States and the United Kingdom have the best programs in business and economics.

Higher education company Quacquarelli Symonds, QS, presents its latest rankings of the best universities. the quality of careers offered in five areas, arts and humanities, technology and engineering, life sciences and medicine, natural and social sciences and management.

Within this broad area there are 55 specific fields, including Business and Administration, and Economics. From 1,500 universities evaluated in 96 countries in the world, which are in the top five Business are Harvard University with a score of 96.4, then Insead with 93.6, London Business School (92.5), Stanford University (92.4) And Massachusetts Institute of Technology, MIT, with 92.3.

Then there is Oxford University (90.9), University of Pennsylvania (90.8), University of Cambridge (90.7), Bocconi University located in Italy (90.6).), and the National University of Singapore (89.5).

Of these, four are from the United States and three from the United Kingdom, indicating that these countries are dominant in terms of universities offering the best business programs; in economics, this is even more pronounced, as they are the only countries to make the top rankings.

There’s the University of Chicago (fourth place with 93.8), Princeton University (5th place with 92.9), University of California, Berkeley (6th place with 92.6), The London School of Economics and Political Science (7th place with 91.8) and Yale University (ranked eighth, 91.0) as the top newcomers, other universities also rank among the top for Business.

Ranking changes

The positions in the 2023 rankings have little variation, in terms of business the top five positions are maintained and In sixth place is Oxford, which finished ninth last year.

In seventh place is the University of Pennsylvania which fell one place due to the rise of Oxford. And Bocconi University fell to ninth place, even though in 2023 it had reached seventh place.
