FRESNO, California – Two brothers who authorities say were involved in a shooting that killed one person and another in hospital were arrested in Tulare.
On Thursday, December 8, 2022, the Fresno Police Department Homicide Unit responded to the 3900 block of East Olive Avenue to conduct an investigation into a shooting death Kenyatta Williams, 25who was killed while visiting friends at the apartment complex.
Kenyatta’s 27-year-old brother was also shot, but his injuries were non-life-threatening and he has since been released from the CRMC.
During the investigation, detectives identified Ryan Segura, 31, and his brother, Anthony Segura, 32, as the two suspects responsible for the shooting.
On Wednesday, December 14, Ryan and Anthony were in Tulare, where they were detained by members of the Tulare Police Department and placed in the county jail on one count of murder and one count of attempted murder.
Although an arrest has been made, the investigation is ongoing and detectives are asking anyone with information about the shooting to contact the Fresno Police Department.
