Ticketmaster, a ticket sales service for shows and attractions, announced the expansion of its strategic alliance with the short video social network TikTok to 20 countries, including Mexico, so that singers or musical groups can use the platform’s ticket sales function, with the aim of promoting their upcoming live performances come.
The partnership between the two companies will expand to the UK, Ireland, Australia, Germany, France, Canada, Mexico, Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Spain and Sweden.
“Through our partnership, TikTok and Ticketmaster empower artists to easily connect their content with in-app event discovery and ticket purchasing, making it even easier for fans around the world to see their favorite artists live,” said Michael Chua, vice president of Global Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Ticketmaster, in a statement.
Those interested can also purchase concert tickets through Ticketmaster directly on the TikTok platform with just a few clicks.
