Tingo Mariathe city famous for the mountain called Sleeping Beauty, its majestic National Park and its beautiful natural landscapes, will be the center of the largest business exhibition in the Jungle, Expoamazónica 2023, which will take place from Thursday, September 21 to Sunday, September 24, at the Playa Tingo facility, It is estimated that more than 70 thousand people will arrive.

This fair, which annually brings together business people and entrepreneurs from six forest regions in Peru, will be attended by the agri-food sector, aquaculture, livestock producers, artisans and tour operators from Ucayali, San Martín, Amazonas, Madre de Dios and Loreto. An average of 350 people per region, which includes suppliers of machinery, equipment and technology services.

Officials from regional governments, municipal governments, NGOs, collaborating institutions, researchers and academics working to promote the economic, productive and environmental potential of the Amazon will also be part of this delegation.

A special case is the more than 30 large international buyers who will arrive at Expoamazónica 2023 to participate in the business roundtable organized by Promperú.These buyers come from the United States, Germany, Belgium, South Korea, Canada, France, Taiwan, Russia and Switzerland . , United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands, Dominican Republic, Mexico, China and Brazil.

They will establish contact with 104 companies in the Selva region. The priority sectors are agribusiness (coffee, cocoa and their derivatives), biotrade (Amazon chestnut, camu camu, sacha inchi, aguaje, coconut, etc.

The commission organizing Expoamazónica 2023, which oversees the Regional Government of Huánuco, reported that everything is planned in Tingo María and its surroundings to serve visitors with adequate accommodation, transportation and food services.
