Weber, Davis, and Ogden School District Announces Delayed School Start Times – NBC Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH- Due to winter storms that have hit Utah for three straight days, the Davis, Ogden, and Alpine school districts have postponed the start of school by two hours on Thursday morning.

The delay will be two hours at the usual entrance. The weather conditions had left piles of snow on the roads and made it difficult for students to get to school.

Some classes for kindergarten students have been cancelled, as well as special activities and Head Start, Early Head Start, and Title I preschool programs.

All Salt Lake City School District schools will be open at their regular hours, but parents are asked to plan for extra commuting time and drive safely.
