2022 Grammys: Who will perform this year?

The Grammys have revealed a list of the third artist who will perform at their ceremony in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3.

The 64th annual show this year, presented by Trevor Noah, has announced the participation of Bruno Mars and Anderson Paak, as Silk Sonic, to open the ceremony, followed by performances by Carrie Underwood, John Legend and J Balvin with Maria Calf.

Maverick City Music, Aymée Nuviola and Billy Strings will appear in a special segment “showcasing Las Vegas and highlighting genres that have historically been underrepresented at the Grammy Awards broadcast.”

Furthermore, according to Variation, A tribute is being made to Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died last week, on March 25, at the age of 50.

All joined by previously announced artists Jon Batiste, HER, Foo Fighters, Chris Stapleton, Nas, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Brandi Carlile, BTS, Olivia Rodrigo, Brothers Osborne and performances by Cynthia Erivo, Ben Platt, Leslie Odom Jr, and Rachel Zegler at Special In Memoriam for Stephen Sondheim.

Silk Sonic made his television debut at last year’s Grammys, where he performed “Leave the Door Open,” following a tongue-in-cheek campaign to appear on the show. Currently, the couple is nominated for four awards.
