Dthe fourth season of the hit TV 2 Lauritzen Company now launched on the screen. In the past, we’ve seen groups of celebrities get sharper in their first practice before they even get to camp — and this season was no exception.
The first rehearsal suddenly descends on the participants, and the audience witnesses its brutal start. Among this year’s recruits we find Vendela Kirsebom, Liva Ingebrigtsen, Thomas Hayes, Tete Lidbom, Didrik Solli-Tangen, Agnete Husebye and Sval, to name a few.
One of those who wanted to challenge themselves under Dag Otto Lauritzen’s military regime was artist and songwriter Carina Dahl (37).
– I regret it So. I should have been practicing push-ups and hang-ups, Dahl said as the new squad had arrived at Setnesmoen’s camp in the picturesque surroundings of Åndalsnes in Western Norway, and tough training awaited.
– When I joined the Lauritzen Company, I said to myself: “Carina, now you are going to face things that you think are very bad, and there is no point in standing around and doubting.” I’m more afraid of losing something than the gain I get from doing something, he told KK.
From time to time he had to remind himself that what he had decided before.
– I’ve decided it’s no use thinking about things I know I have to dohe said, and added that there are exercises that are still not easy not to think about.
About death: – I ended up in complete shock
Straight from touring life to the military
After touring and holding 30 concerts, head straight to the Setnesmoen camp at the end of the summer. That leaves little room to physically prepare an active and energetic artist. Usually he trains regularly, but on tour it’s limited to sessions here and there between games.
Lauritzen Company had already had great success in its first season, but with priorities other than watching TV, Dahl couldn’t catch up with previous seasons. That was still his plan after he agreed to participate in the fourth season.
– It didn’t work. I entered and realized that the other attendees had seen everything. When we were going to do the exercises, the others were like: “Oh yeah, this is the practice huh”.
The 37-year-old sometimes feels confused. It’s easy for him to jump into things and think it will be fun, only to realize that it can be more challenging than first thought.
– I know people would kill for it
Dahl happily took up the challenge, and it gave him many unique experiences. Lauritzen Company was no exception. Challenging himself and feeling mastery meant that he had grown a lot.
– I have some unique experiences. I know people would kill to be a part of stuff like thathe claimed.
Gaining a sense of mastery over something that was remote at first, you grow a lot.
– Many people may feel uncomfortable
Rikke didn’t dare to ask for rest even though the pads were about to come out
Afraid
With a fear of heights and claustrophobia, there’s no doubt the 37-year-old is what she fears most. Nevertheless, he has a great desire to overcome his fear – especially heights. He loved climbing mountains and climbing peaks, and being able to enjoy the spectacular experience of the heights would be a huge advantage for him.
Claustrophobia, on the other hand, he has more doubts about whether he will be able to overcome it during his stay.
– For example, I can’t sit in the back seat of a car that doesn’t have a door at the back. This is really bad, he tells KK.
– Did you get any little surprises during your stay?
– Yes, and my sister said I should be worried about the fact that they would talk to me harshly, but I thought I was so stubborn that I messed up – but I was wrong No deep, so to speak.
The artist felt that he was being spoken to as if he were a fool, which he managed to overcome with great difficulty.
– It got to the point where it was a little wobbly. I’ve had enough he says and he feels all the emotions at the same time. Even though he knew it would be difficult as a recruit, it was completely impossible to fathom what emotions he would feel.
Trønder is surprised by his reaction to some things, which he previously thought he would not care about. He knew it would be terrifying, and mentally and physically demanding, but he was not prepared for how he would react to an order from the commander.
Emilie Enger Mehl: – I was surprised that my reaction was so out of control
– So impatient
– Have you become a better version of yourself?
– I didn’t make the bed today, no, I didn’t – believe it or not, he laughed.
Recruits are measured by how much they contribute, as well as habits and characteristics. Dahl realized one thing after the commander’s feedback.
– If they tell us about practice, I start before they finish talking. I’m very impatient, and I’m always one step ahead, he says, drawing a line of life outside the camp:
– I do thirty thousand things at the same time. Everything ideally happened yesterday, and I will always save time. It makes me burn the candle at both ends.
Dahl, or the recruits of 8th Company, didn’t see it as a negative until the commander pointed out that he couldn’t keep up with everything he did. Usually he calls himself a tactical time saver. It can still make things half-hearted.
– Everything must go very fast. It’s a habit I realized while I was there, he said
As well as participating in the Lauritzen Company, he also performed with the song “Best på fest”. By the summer, several songs will be released for an EP with party music. Therefore, Trønder had more balls in the air.
But embracing the moment and being present are the most important things she brings back to everyday life. Lauritzen’s company had also given him many good experiences which he took further with him.
– I’m with very good people. It’s a fantastic group with a lot of cool people, and I’m going through some really wild stuff – experiences that really excite me. I didn’t think claustrophobia would give me a kick because I thought I could live a rich life without it.
Lauritzen Company premieres Saturday at 20.00 on TV 2 Direkte.
– I thought “what do I do now?”
– I lack self-control
