– It’s scary, because they feel they’ve gotten away with it, so they could end up killing other people, Sandi Bogle told Sky News.
Bogle is known in the UK through the TV series “Gogglebox” and “Celebrity Big Brother”. She is also the aunt of Bjorn Brown, a 23-year-old father who was stabbed in March 2017 and died of his wounds five days later.
The perpetrators have not been caught.
The murder is just one of 350 unsolved murders in London alone, according to figures Sky News extracted from police records for the last 20 years.
A total of 2,876 murders were committed in London between 1 April 2002 and 16 July 2022. Of the 350 unsolved murders, 113 were committed with a “sharp object” and 98 with a firearm. Eight of the murders were committed by suffocation and nine by poisoning.
85 percent of unsolved homicide victims are male.
In 2017, a £20,000 reward was offered for information that could help solve the Bjorn Brown murder. Images from surveillance cameras were also released showing the two suspects from behind.
