News, Entertainment | Kongsberg’s Viggo is in the final of “Britain’s Got Talent”

(Online Newspaper): Relatively unknown Norwegian comedian Viggo Venn is going to have a hell of a career in the UK. The Norwegian from Kongsberg, who lives in London, continues from the first audition in “Britain’s Got Talent” a few weeks ago.

At that time still with tears of tribulation. Veteran judge Simon Cowell attempted to send Venn home from halftime, by pressing the red button. The Norwegian still qualified for the semifinals, at the request of the other three judges.

On Tuesday night, Cowell was also convinced by the Norwegian, although he also threw a cute little jab.

– We all need little Viggo in our lives, this was the best performance of the night, said judge Alesha Dixon.

– The most annoying of the whole night, added a smiling Cowell, before he later admitted on the program that the Norwegian was his favorite on Tuesday.

Of the eight performances that night, Venn received the most audience votes, and thus qualified directly for the final, which will be broadcast on Sunday.

Venn’s performance going into the final was as simple and absurd as it was brilliant.

In turn, he asked the famous judging panel, led by Simon Cowell, to read out his name, before quickly parodying each of them appropriately. All with Eminem’s “My Name Is” repeated in the background. This may sound simple and very strange in theory, but both the judges and the audience were blown away by the Norwegian’s energy and ability to get the judges to follow them.

– I do not expect! shouted the Norwegian shortly after his decision was clear.

– I felt like I was doing my “vest,” he explained later, wearing his trademark yellow vest from his audition appearance.

– The whole country went crazy for Viggo, shouted judge Bruno Tonioli as Venn finished his performance, before leading the benevolent crowd in cheers of “Viggo, Viggo, Viggo!”.

The final judge, Amanda Holden, was unable to do so in a tight schedule, but she also picked Venn as the favorite right before the night’s winner was announced.
