With the aim of creating business opportunities and eliminating middlemen between agricultural producers and companies, the Agriculture Business Round was inaugurated yesterday in Cochabamba.
The President of the Cochabamba Exporters’ Chamber (Cadexco), Juan Carlos Ávila explained, some exporters and industries in his department have difficulty finding agricultural suppliers who have large capacity and seriousness, so the Agriculture Wheel will help strengthen relations between sectors. agro-productive chains, promoting business and expanding commercial contracts.
The Agricultural Round will connect producers and entrepreneurs, eliminating middlemen and high costs, thereby enhancing commercial relations in the agricultural sector.
For Ávila, the Business Roundtable will connect and promote economic development and collaboration between various actors in the productive agricultural chain. He added that linking the two sectors was important and ensuring that the contacts established would allow those involved to build a business in the short, medium and long term.
The Farm Round was attended by 41 exhibitors, including agricultural machinery companies, agricultural service companies, financial entities, producers, dairy associations and beekeepers.
President of the Cochabamba Federation of Private Enterprises (FEPC), Luis Laredo, emphasized that the event strengthens innovation within companies.
“By encouraging these business interactions, we are paving the way for innovation, diversification and strengthening of our production chain,” he said.
This event was organized by the Government of Cochabamba, Cadexco and FEPC.
