The International Exhibition of Educational Technology and Innovation, which will be inaugurated this Tuesday at Ifema Madrid by the Minister of Education, Ministry of Education and Vocational Training, José Manuel Bar Cendón and the Minister of Education, Science and Universities of the Community of Madrid, Emilio Viciana, will bring together the innovations of 125 companies from eleven country in pavilion 6 of the exhibition venue.
Artificial intelligence in advanced tools and solutions; an app that aims to turn anxiety into public speaking skills in the younger generation; software solutions for creating interactive content; Innovative interactive displays, high-speed 3D printers and new functions, educational robots, Reality simulators, are some of the new features in this edition.
Under the motto “Education in the era of Artificial Intelligence: Exploring New Frontiers”, the International Fair of Educational Technology and Innovation, Simo Educación 2023, will celebrate one of the “most complete and representative” editions, according to its organizers, of advances in technology, innovation and pedagogy and its “important role” both in teaching activities and in progress towards quality education.
Organized by Ifema Madrid, in collaboration with Educación 3.0, this year’s exhibition brings together the offerings of 125 companies from 11 countries – Germany, Australia, Bulgaria, Colombia, South Korea, USA, Slovakia, Spain, France, Italy and the UK- -; which represents growth of more than 13% compared to its last edition.
Among the novelties of this edition, advanced tools and solutions exploring the potential of artificial intelligence and applications designed to meet various educational needs, software solutions for interactive content creation, high-speed 3D printers will be presented. , reality simulators and other innovations in the field of educational technology.
In addition, the exhibition will offer its program aimed at giving visibility to “good practices” in the Classroom – Innovative Teaching Experiences, which this year highlights 14 teaching initiatives carried out in centers throughout Spain; Workshop program, conferences and practical workshops on the topic of educational innovation, as well as days for school principals, and the INSPIRA program with a selection of motivational conferences for teachers to innovate.
SIMO EDUCATIONAL INNOVA PLATFORM
The Simo Educación Innova platform will highlight the contribution of technologies developed in the field of education, by the most important brands in this sector; The Makers Room will bring together teachers and students who will demonstrate how to promote knowledge through practice with a “learning by doing” methodology.
In addition, Simo Educación Impulso will showcase business projects, newly founded companies, and the SHOW UP! space, dedicated to promoting talent and entrepreneurship, will bring together the innovative proposals of this year’s eight startups. On the occasion of European Robotics Week 2023, HispaRob will organize, within the framework of the exhibition, practical workshops given by the entities of this educational robotics group, and a conference program that will combine cinema, robotics, STEAM and education. , with a short film screening and discussion.
The final touch, as in every edition, will be a Tribute to Teachers, on Wednesday, November 15 at 7 p.m., to recognize and celebrate the fundamental role teachers play in the field of educational innovation, as well as their socially significant relevance. in the transformation of the education system.
