The situation is said to have escalated, and Harry wrote in his book that Prince William “grabbed me by the collar, broke my chains and threw me to the ground”.
Prince Harry further claimed that the attack caused him to suffer injuries to his back.
His autobiography is entitled “Spare” and will be published next week.
This is expected to worsen relations between Prince Harry and the entire British royal family.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down as prominent members of the royal family in the spring of 2020 and moved from the United Kingdom to Los Angeles in the United States.
Pushed him to the ground
The Guardian, which has read the book, called “Spare” an extraordinary book in which the fight between the two brothers is a shocking turn.
According to Prince Harry, the reason for Prince William’s visit in 2019 was the “disaster” that occurred between the brothers and the tabloid press.
William reportedly wanted to talk about this, but according to Harry, he was already angry when he arrived at Harry’s house in London.
After William criticized Duchess Meghan, Harry responded and it ended in an argument, both of them hurling insults at each other.
– Everything happened so fast. Very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, breaking my chain and throwing me to the ground. I landed in the dog bowl, which cracked under my back, and the pieces impaled me.
“I lay on the ground for a moment, dazed, then I got up and told him to leave,” wrote Prince Harry.
According to Harry, William apologized when he left.
In connection with the publication of the book, Prince Harry has given an interview to ITV which will be broadcast in the UK on Sunday.
In excerpts from the interview, Prince Harry said he wanted his father and brother to return and be part of the family, not an institution.
“Spare” arrives a month after Netflix released the documentary “Harry & Meghan.”
