(PAGE 2): Talent show X Factor is entering its tenth season in the UK.

The program is very popular and has produced several artists who have had success on the UK charts.

This year, Sharon Osbourne returns as a judge, replacing Tulisa Contostavlos on the judging panel. There he sat with Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger, all three of whom were also judges last year.

In the first season of X Factor, candidates auditioned in a room attended only by the judges, as is done for example on Idol. Later it was changed to singing in the arena in front of thousands of spectators.
