Approved the new agreement

Henrik Kristoffersen and the Norwegian Ski Association have extended the superstar’s individual agreement with the national team.

As such, the 27-year-old from Rælingen will also have individual programs in the next two years, with the Ski Association facilitating financially and practically for individual sports tailored programs for Kristoffersen out of competition.

– We agree, and only the signing remains, wrote sports manager Claus Ryste in a text to Dagbladet.

Lars Kristofferson’s father nodded in agreement:

– Yes, we agree, he told Dagbladet.

Criticizing the Ski Association: – Should go by itself

Be extended

The three-year agreement Kristoffersen and the Norwegian Ski Association signed in 2019 finished after this year’s season, but already early in the season the parties seemed confident that it would reach a similar agreement this summer.

This spring, there was a conversation between sports manager Claus Ryste at the Ski Association and Kristoffersen’s father and head coach Lars Kristoffersen, in which details were discussed.

Lars Kristofferson said there was little change from the deal signed in 2019.

– This is a two year agreement, otherwise it is almost identical.

– What does it mean for you to have this in order?

– All the agreements in the box give you peace of mind. Then there is nothing more to think about. It’s great to implement it, explains Kristoffersen.

This has happened

It’s been almost three years since Henrik Kristoffersen and the Norwegian Ski Association took the peace pipe and buried the battle axe.

June 6, 2019 confirmed the Ski Association in a pers conference that they agreed with the star mountaineer on a three-year contract.

In short, it means the Ski Association, both financially and logistically, must engage and support individual initiatives for Kristoffersen.

The agreement came after the two parties were involved in a long conflict. Already in 2016, Kristoffersen sued the Norwegian Ski Association. He wanted a better training framework and a greater opportunity to feature his personal sponsor Red Bull at the helm.

Kristofferson explained that it wasn’t about finances, but he wanted better sporting commitments and the opportunity to use Red Bull’s support equipment.

Henrik Kristoffersen repeated this to Dagbladet before the trial in 2019.

The ski association won when the case was brought to the district court, and later in the same year the parties agreed Agreement.

Henrik Kristoffersen and the entire Norwegian Alps national team had an official presentation of the Alps national team and coaching team for the 2022-2023 season on Wednesday afternoon. There they will also present a new collaboration with Helly Hansen.
