Announcing various changes to its regional team, DHL Supply Chain announced that Agustín Croche, the current president of DHL Supply Chain in Mexico will become CEO of DHL Supply Chain Latin America, starting September 1, 2023.

The President succeeds Javier Bilbao, who has been appointed CEO of DHL Supply Chain for Asia Pacific.

Agustín Croche joined DHL Supply Chain in 1997 as part of the automotive business in Mexico. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in areas such as operations, solution design and business development in various Latin American countries: Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. In 2015, he served as president of DHL Supply Chain in Mexico.

The executive will begin his management in Latin America from 1 July 2023 and will become part of DHL’s Global Supply Chain Council. “This is a big challenge for me. We will continue to work with our people so that we are the first priority for our clients in logistics and the first choice as an employer”, emphasized Agustín Croche.

Javier Bilbao, who started his career at Deutsche Post DHL Group in the UK in 2000, has held various strategic positions over the years and, since 2017, as CEO of DHL Supply Chain Latin America, in addition to being a member of the division’s Global Council.

Javier leads the company in the Asia Pacific region, succeeding Terry Ryan, who is retiring after 40 years with Deutsche Post DHL Group.

I take on my new challenge in Asia Pacific with the desire to continue Terry’s legacy and consolidate and expand the company’s position,” said Javier Bilbao, appointed CEO of DHL Supply Chain Asia Pacific.

DHL Supply Chain has increased its presence in Latin America, with nearly 250 distribution centers and more than 40,000 collaborators across Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
