British Airways resumed commercial flights between London and Beijing after the pandemic

The first British Airways flight from London to Beijing in more than three years landed at Daxing Airport on Sunday. This is the first passenger flight between the two cities since 2020, when the route was suspended due to the pandemic. The resumption claims the airline’s exclusivity as the only British carrier operating direct services between Beijing and the UK. Flights will operate four times a week between Beijing and London, departing from Daxing Airport on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

British Airways and its trading partner, China Southern, operate out of Daxing, giving customers greater connectivity between the UK and China, with easier transfers, more connecting flight options, and better benefits.
