Police confirmed that two men in their 20s and 30s were arrested in the UK in March.
Some British media, including some BBCinformed by sources that one of the men must have worked as a researcher at the British National Assembly and worked in foreign affairs.
Newspaper Sunday Time also wrote that the researcher definitely had ties to some members of the conservative party.
According to their sources, the researcher has ties to Security Minister Tom Tugendhat and the chairman of the foreign affairs committee, Alicia Kearns, among others. However, several sources in the government refused to comment on the matter.

The case is currently being investigated by the police.
China reacted strongly following the announcement in Parliament of the arrest of a man in his 20s who they believe is a Chinese spy.
– Claims that China is suspected of stealing British information are completely fabricated and nothing more than malicious slander, a spokesman for the Chinese embassy in London said in a statement on Sunday evening.
In its statement, the British were accused of political manipulation, and the case was claimed to be a political joke created by the British themselves.
