DHL Supply Chain announced changes to its leadership team in Latin America

DHL Supply Chain, the contract logistics arm of Deutsche Post DHL Group announced several changes to its regional team. Javier Bilbao, the current leader of the Latin America region, has been appointed CEO of DHL Supply Chain for the Asia Pacific region, effective September 1, 2023. Instead, Augustine Croche, President of DHL Supply Chain Mexico, will assume the CEO position in Latin America.

Agustin Croche joined DHL Supply Chain in 1997 as part of the automotive business in Mexico. Since then, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in areas such as operations, solution design and business development in various Latin American countries: Chile, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. In 2015, he served as president of DHL Supply Chain in Mexico.

Agustín will begin his management in Latin America from 1 July 2023 and will become part of the Global Board of DHL Supply Chain. “This is a good and great challenge for me. We will continue to work with our people so that we are the first priority for our clients in logistics and the first choice as an employer” projection.

Javier Bilbao, who started it His career at Deutsche Post DHL Group in the UK in 2000, he has held various strategic positions over the years and, since 2017, has served as CEO of DHL Supply Chain Latin America, in addition to being a member of the division’s Global Council. Javier took leadership of the company in the Asia Pacific region, successfully Terry Ryan, who retired after 40 years with Deutsche Post DHL Group.

DHL Supply Chain has increased its presence in Latin America, with nearly 250 distribution centers and more than 40,000 employees spread across Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru.
