Huge amount to pay

Harry and Meghan can smile about how much money they make public laundries, but they have come at the expense of those closest to them.

Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry are in the process of cutting all ties with almost everyone in their immediate family.

Meghan’s father Thomas and half-brother Thomas jr. and Samantha have been absent from their lives for a long time, and Harry’s father Charles and brother William also seem to be doing everything to keep them out of the way.

Then only Meghan’s mother, Doria, remained. There won’t be many family parties for this couple in the future.

Left with NOK 1.8 billion

I think that is a high amount to be paid to publicly tell one’s view of reality.

I don’t think it helps if you have NOK 1.8 billion, including Netflix series, books, and podcasts, to throw everyone you love under the bus.

But Harry and Meghan definitely have very different opinions from me about what’s important in life. They seem so concerned about letting the rest of the world know that they know the most about everything. They sit on the whole and full truth.

It doesn’t matter then if they can’t document their claims, that it affects people who are, or at least have been, close to them or England’s traditional monarchy is in jeopardy.

Granted, there have been plenty of scandals in the British royal house over the years, but the Harry and Meghan feud, now the latest in the Netflix series Harry and Meghan, is the most.

No prince has previously accused his father and king of lying publicly, telling of spats with his brother and the next king, criticizing the late queen and her grandmother for not intervening in family feuds and more than suggesting that the British royal family is racist and corrupt and it consisted of a number of disloyal men who leaked to the media and partially controlled tabloid newspapers when it came to coverage of the royals.

Netflix series “Harry and Meghan”

But Harry and Meghan claim all of this on the Netflix series. No wonder every Englishman I know is more or less shocked.

All family fights are bad, but they get especially bad when they happen in public and with some of the most famous people in the world in the lead roles. There are no winners here – only losers.

Even experienced reporters in England, who were delighted when something happened in the royal house, could never have imagined the scandal they were now witnessing in their own country.

The discord within the Norwegian royal family that caused Princess Märtha to step down from her representative duties and the title fight in Denmark feels almost like a minor thing in this context.

Though, with 23 years of experience as a court reporter, I also don’t see these cases ever reaching the public.

Must conclude a peace treaty

Another major difference between the petty squabbles in the Scandinavian and British royal families is that the first two cases appear to have been settled. Or as King Harald said about his relationship with Princess Märtha and Durek Verrett’s fiancé: – We agree to disagree.

I don’t think such a solution is possible in the UK. There the conflict seems to be completely resolved.

Some believe that King Charles must have been tough, and deprived Meghan and Harry of their royal duties. I don’t think that will solve any problem. Harry will remain the king’s son and brother to the next king.

I believe that for the sake of the future of the monarchy and their own honor, they are obligated to enter into some form of peace treaty. Although I don’t think it will end with them becoming friends. That race has been running for a long time.
