Culture and entertainment:- Carew has many, many opportunities to correct the information provided to tax authorities, said Ragna Flækøy Skjåkødegård at the kokrim when he explained the prosecution’s request for sentencing on Wednesday, according to E24.

The former footballer was charged with tax evasion from 2014 to 2019.

The Plaintiff believes that Carew had stayed more than 183 days in Norway in the years concerned, and was therefore taxed in Norway on all of his income/entire wealth.

The prosecution believes that there were no mitigating circumstances in this case, or the bond between Carew and Flod.

– In financial criminal cases, from experience, many use advisors. The prosecution could not see that there were mitigating circumstances, Skjåkødegård said.

Bender believes Carew’s explanation suggests he has placed himself in “conscious ignorance”.

– He won’t understand. He couldn’t agree with that, he said according to the report Today’s business.

Carew has admitted grossly negligent gross tax evasion, but kokrim believes he should also be penalized for intentional tax evasion for the years from 2017 to 2019.

In his explanation, Carew said that he followed the advice of his agent and attorney Per A. Flod when he gave the Tax Agency information that he was a taxpayer in the UK.

First State Attorney Marianne Bender at the CoC is registered, according to Television 2, some of the things Carew had done without Flod involved. Among other things, he has purchased several apartments, found tax advisers in the US and UK, founded several companies and handled tax conflicts in France with other advisers.
