Things happened in the US at Madcon, which last weekend won the Export Prize
when the Spellemann awards for 2008 were handed out
. And it seems they won’t just stop at music exports. Now they have recorded two new songs with him

Tshawe Baqwa and Yosef Wolde-Mariam are currently in New York plotting a battle with their American label Universal Republic, which also released Amy Winehouse.
In an interview with Morgenshowet on the NRJ radio channel on Friday, Yosef said:

– We have recorded two new songs that will be on the American version of our album, Wolde-Mariam told NRJ.
Meeting Jay-Z soon?
He wouldn’t divulge too many details, but said they have gotten to know Jay-Z’s childhood friend and business partner Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith well.
Madcon has not yet met the superstar, but Yosef said they hope to meet soon.
Madcon will release their first US single in a few weeks, but in the meantime things are going well in the UK. There they receive feedback indicating the success of the new single.
