More than 60% of SMEs in Spain do not know how to improve their online business

A recent study of SMEs and Amazon sellers in the EU (conducted with 2,500 SME owners in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK) revealed that 70% of European SMEs lack confidence in growing their online business, although the majority in including realizing the value and growth potential of digitalization.

In the case of Spain, 62% of SME owners do not know how to improve their business online, although 87% are aware of the advantages and added value of digitalizing their business.

Invest in training to increase online income

Despite the obstacles they face, SMEs are willing to grow their businesses online and therefore, they invest a lot of time in digital skills training. Owners spend an average of 10 hours a week (equivalent to 65 days a year) looking for ways to digitize their business and increase online sales.

Business owners are interested in learning more about supply chains, shipping and logistics options, and regulations..
