MTV has revealed who will be performing at the 2022 MTV EMAs

This comes on top of previously announced artists Ava Max, Bebe Rexha, David Guetta, Gorillaz, Lewis Capaldi and Muse.

The 2022 “MTV EMAs”, hosted by Rita Ora and Taika Waititi, is one of the biggest music events in Europe and will be broadcast live from the PSD Bank Dome in the German city of Düsseldorf on Sunday 13 November.

In Norway, the broadcast was broadcast exclusively and live on the free streaming service Pluto TV. The broadcast starts at 20:00 from the red carpet.

Up and coming Philadelphia rapper Armani White will perform during the EMA Red Carpet event, hosted by Jack Saunders and Becca Dudley of MTV UK, which will be broadcast live on MTVEMA.com.

  • One republicThe OneRepublic GRAMMY nominees consist of singer/songwriter and vocalist Ryan Tedder, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, keyboardist Brian Willett, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle, and drummer Eddie Fisher. Famous bands, among others Apologizewhich sold over 20 million copies and their most recent album Manwhich has exceeded 2.5 billion global streams.
  • Kalush Orchestra – Ukrainian hip-hop group debuted at the EMAs. Kalush Orchestra combines traditional Ukrainian instruments and melodies with modern hip-hop beats and rap verses.
  • SPINE – One of the most famous and successful DJs in Africa also made his EMA debut. This DJ, producer and songwriter is known for his extensive catalog of hit singles, his extraordinary skills on the deck and for being the first Nigerian DJ to tour Africa, the UK and the US performing at the Ends Festival, OneAfrica, Afronation and the Festival Glastonbury.
  • Äyanna – British singer-songwriter Äyanna had great success with the song Strength (Remember who you are), created in collaboration with SPINALL and DJ Snake. The catchy dance track incorporates memorable parts from a Nina Simone song sinner and Summer Walker.
  • Evil C – Nsikayesizwe David Ngcobo, better known as Nasty C, is a multi-award winning South African rapper. His best-selling album Strings and Blings has achieved more than 90 million streams.

The 2022 “MTV EMAs” will be broadcast live in over 170 countries, including in the Nordics where the awards ceremony will be broadcast on Pluto TV. Norwegian viewers will also have the opportunity to watch the on-demand broadcast thereafter.

Fans can vote for their favorites across 17 gender-neutral categories, including ‘Best Song’, ‘Best Artist’, ‘Best Collaboration’ and two new categories ‘Best Full-Length Video’ and ‘Best Metaverse Performance’ on www. mtvema.com until November 9th at 23:59 CET.
