On Christmas Eve last year, Elle Edwards was killed. The incident rocked England.
The 26-year-old woman was at a local pub in Wirral with her sister and friends when she was shot in the head just before midnight.
Friends said then Sky News that they thought the bangs were fireworks, before they saw Edwards lying motionless on the ground.

Four other people, all youths, were also injured. All the gunshot victims were immediately taken to the hospital, but Edwards’ life could not be saved.
Three people have been arrested in connection with the murder which took place at the Lighthouse pub in Liverpool’s Wirral district.

Now the police have made a new update after the tragic shooting, reports Sky News.
A new man has been arrested, suspected to be Edwards’ killer.
Merseyside Police said the 22-year-old had been taken into custody.
They also detained a 23 year old woman. He allegedly helped the 22-year-old man.

– This brings the number of arrests in connection with Elle’s tragic death to five, the lead investigator in the case Sue Coombs told Sky News on Wednesday.
– Despite extensive work being done by our dedicated team at the Merseyside Police and intelligence services, I would still be appealing to anyone with information that has not yet surfaced to do so, continued Coombs.

Edwards worked as a beautician. He was pronounced dead in hospital after the shooting.
In Great Britain, Christmas Eve is traditionally the night, as Christmas is celebrated the following morning.
