The long-awaited return of the Charlie Brooker anthology series is happening this week. The sixth season of Black glassaccording to the official synopsis, it is “more unpredictable, unclassifiable, and unpredictable” So far, and as is customary in franchises, it’s featured a lavish cast: Aaron Paul, Josh Hartnett, Michael Cera, Rory Culkin, Salma Hayek Pinault, and Zazie Beetz.

The new season will launch five new unpublished stories about issues that concern residents and that are not so much from the future as more from the present. The official synopsis anticipates it: “Imagine the unimaginable. Anything could happen with the long-awaited return of Black Mirror, Charlie Brooker’s dark anthology series that reinvents itself with each new episode.”

The episode’s official description reads: “A woman discovers that a global streaming platform has turned her life into a drama series starring hit Hollywood star Salma Hayek.” Annie Murphy, Ben Barnes, Himesh Patel, Michael Cera and Rob Delaney were the ones to complete the cast for the episode which was shot in the UK and directed by Ally Pankiw.

“A couple travels to a small Scottish town to shoot a nature documentary, but everything changes when a local news item about an event from the past catches their attention,” announces the synopsis for episode two. Daniel Portman, John Hannah, Monica Dolan, Myha’la Herrold and Samuel Blenkin will star. The director is in charge of Sam Miller, in charge of I May Destroy You and a veteran of Black Mirror.
