Paint Cocreator integrates AI image creation into Microsoft – Technology’s popular drawing and editing applications

MADRID, 29 (Portaltic/EP)

Microsoft has presented a new tool based on Dall-E, Paint Cocreator, which allows to generate artistic content in Paint from text instructions, which is already available in testing in several countries.

The tech company uses an image generator in its Dall-E-based Bing search engine, from OpenAI, that only requires a text premise to create high-quality content. As part of an update to the Paint app, it has now announced another generator, this time, in the popular drawing tool.

This is Paint Cocreator, which also uses DALL-E, which is available in preview for some users in the United States, France, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Italy, and Germany, in English.

Paint Cocreator works like other similar tools: users write a description of the image they want to obtain and artificial intelligence (AI) generates the image. It also supports optional style selection.

This tool generates three variations of art according to the description provided, so users can choose one. When you select it, it will be added to the canvas to continue working on, as explained in a post on the official blog.

Microsoft has highlighted its intention to offer responsible AI tools: “when you use Paint Cocreator, we apply content filtering and other security measures to prevent the creation of images that may be harmful, offensive, or inappropriate, and we continually optimize the operation of Paint Cocreator based on usage and input in the real world.”
