– In Southern and Eastern Norway, expect a little more cloudiness now, but still good summer air, on-duty meteorologist Ingvild Villa told NTB.
Meteorologists further stated that the temperature would be around 20 degrees all weekend. The weather will also be relatively stable, but in some periods it will be cloudy.
For Southern and Eastern Norway, there will be less rain and wind, resulting in dry weather for most of the weekend.
In Western Norway, the situation is different. Villa explained that low pressure coming from the west brings lots of rain, especially in the Vestland region. In addition, there is a risk of snow in the mountains.
– For those who have changed to summer tires, I would consider the trip with caution. It’s important to check the weather forecast for the mountain you’re going to, and not just where you’re going, says Villa.
Villa still says that Rogaland can avoid some low pressure and thus get some good weather at the end of the week.

Married in Northern Norway
In northern Norway, summer is still waiting. The Meteorological Institute has issued a snow warning for parts of Troms and Nordland, which will be in effect until Friday. Here too, Villa warns those who have switched to summer tires.
– Pay close attention to Vegtrafikksentralen, they have cameras on the mountain trails. Then you have to consider which mountains you are going to climb if you still have summer tires.
In the lowlands, the northerners fortunately escaped the snow. Still, it got really cold. Here, too, low pressure causes a lot of precipitation.
– There will be relatively low temperatures and lots of rain. East Finnmark in particular had very high temperatures recently but that looks to be ending now, said Villa.
Meteorologists say the weather will be good in Troms on Saturday morning. Otherwise, there would be constant rain throughout most of northern Norway, with temperatures between eight and twelve degrees.
Trøndelag will also receive regular rain throughout the weekend. The temperature there will drop from Thursday to the weekend.
– Never swimming again
– It doesn’t take long before it lights up
Thus, Southern and Eastern Norway will be the big weather winners for the weekend, while the rest of the country will have a wet weekend.
Despite a lot of hot weather lately, meteorologists have yet to send out a forest fire hazard warning for Eastern or Southern Norway.
– Now there is little rain on Tuesday, at the same time the grass is much more lush closer to summer. Then it doesn’t fire quickly, says Villa.
However, he cautioned that the ban on bonfires is in effect until September 15.
– It doesn’t take long before it turns on. I would advise everyone to be careful with open flames.
