Electronics “By introducing new and creative ways for users to personalize their lives, our newest products and solutions enable anyone to enjoy a more sustainable, connected and stylish lifestyle.”

Sustainable living: technology with a positive impact

The Samsung Bespoke Life concept was born from the belief that home appliances are essential to creating a more sustainable future. Therefore, this year’s Bespoke event highlighted Samsung’s efforts to continuously reduce carbon emissions throughout the product lifecycle. Likewise, the launch of the new Filter Less Microfiber™ was announced: a simple solution to minimize microplastic emissions during the wash cycle.

From procurement and production to distribution, use and recycling, Samsung redesigns every stage of its product lifecycle to help reduce energy use and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Examples of the company’s efforts to recycle more resources include operating a closed-loop recycling center, incorporating bioplastics from used oil into Bespoke refrigerator bins, and expanding the use of wastewater networks, fishing recycling. Once manufactured, the products are delivered to users in eco-friendly packaging by Samsung, which started replacing tape and plastic film with paper earlier this year.

In order to promote a more sustainable life during the product use phase, Samsung continues to expand energy-saving services. That’s why this year five new Bespoke devices, including refrigerators, washers and dryers, dishwashers and air conditioners, and Samsung’s Eco-Heating System, will feature an upgraded version of the SmartThings AI Energy Mode that will soon be available in 65 countries.

Apart from promoting the reduction of carbon emissions and energy use, Samsung continues to play an active role in the fight against microplastic pollution. After developing a wash cycle that reduces microfibre waste by up to 54%, Samsung and Patagonia have teamed up once again to launch Filter Less Microfiber™. The Less Microfiber™ filter captures up to 98% of the microfibers released during the wash cycle. When used to wash two kilos of laundry four times a week, these filters can help reduce up to 132 grams of microplastic waste per person per year, an amount equivalent to approximately eight 500ml plastic bottles. Less Microfiber™ filters are now available in Korea and the UK, with additional countries to be launched in the third quarter of this year.

Connected Living: Paving the Way for a Hyper-Connected Home

Personalizing life is optimizing devices in ways that streamline and enhance routines. By strengthening connectivity across lines and extending AI to more product categories, Samsung is paving the way for a new era of hyper-connected homes.

Combining the latest Samsung SmartThings enhancements and AI technology, Bespoke products deliver seamless automated home experiences, where devices learn user usage patterns and provide personalized automation based on your smart home device settings and lifestyle. To make it easier for consumers to enjoy this experience, Samsung has announced that it will integrate Wi-Fi support into all its new Bespoke devices and will make connectivity standard across all Samsung device lines in the coming years.

Samsung also announced the launch of the Bespoke Jet™ AI, the company’s most powerful wireless vacuum cleaner and the first in the world to be verified by UL (Underwriters Laboratories) Solutions, a leading independent scientific safety organization, for AI. Combining up to 280W of suction power with up to 100 minutes of runtime per charge, the Bespoke Jet™ AI delivers the performance needed to thoroughly clean your entire home. Its AI Cleaning Mode intelligently monitors brush load and suction air pressure to differentiate between different cleaning environments, including floor types, and automatically optimizes settings such as suction power and brush speed to maximize cleaning performance, cleaning performance, uptime and maneuverability. . This vacuum also features the new All-in-One Clean Station™ which generates a powerful rotating cyclone to instantly and efficiently empty the dust bucket.

Live in style: take custom design to the next level

The three million Bespoke refrigerators that have been sold worldwide since the launch of the line underscore the overwhelming consumer appetite for appliances that offer more choice and functionality than traditional trends. Today, the rethinking of what home appliances have to offer consumers continues to dictate bespoke designs, a design approach that becomes more dynamic and different each time it evolves into a new product category.

This year, the Bespoke line covers a total of 15 product categories available to consumers in 52 countries. Each line expansion presents opportunities to meet more lifestyles and needs. With this in mind, Samsung is expanding its Bespoke refrigerator lineup with the launch of the Bespoke 4-Door Flex™ with Family Hub™+, as well as new side-by-side and top-mount models. The Bespoke 4-Door Flex™ with Family Hub™+ features a 32-inch bezel-less touchscreen that is nearly double the size of the previous model and includes more convenient and entertaining multitasking features. The new side-by-side and top-mount models combine some of Samsung’s most advanced food storage technologies with a sleek, minimalist front panel that’s available in a variety of colors and finishes.

This year, in addition to introducing Bespoke AITM washers and dryers in the US and Southeast Asia, Samsung is continuing to expand personalization options so more people can personalize their homes. Available to all consumers in the United States starting last year, Samsung’s MyBespoke personalization service makes it easy for users to create a kitchen look that truly reflects their way of life by using photos or illustrations to create unique panels. Further enhancing its bold Bespoke design ethos, the company has announced that the limited edition Bespoke panels designed by Italian creative studio TOILETPAPER and first launched at Fuorisalone 2023 are now available for purchase on Samsung.com and can also be found in Samsung flagship stores in the UK. , US, and Korea.
