Scientific Games and Allwyn are changing the UK National Lottery with an innovative plan and advanced technology complex

The company marked the official handover of its fourth UK National Lottery license on February 1. Through close collaboration with partner Allwyn UK, Scientific Games has achieved strategically planned milestones to support Allwyn’s plans to develop the National Lottery responsibly and minimize impact on the environment.

Positive momentum is underway with the opening of Scientific Games’ state-of-the-art scratch card logistics facility in Warrington, UK to serve National Lottery retailers. The center features the company’s patented SciTrak technology, which includes a predictive ordering and sorting system that drives supply chain efficiency and early sales performance. The timely opening of the new facility will generate new jobs in the industrial city, about 20 miles southwest of Manchester.

This logistics facility is the first of many scheduled deliveries from Scientific Games as part of its partnership with Allwyn. Allwyn’s transformation program includes, over time, the conversion of National Lottery technology into Scientific Games’ state-of-the-art SYMPHONY enterprise gaming system and more than 40,000 retail terminals. Additionally, through this partnership, Scientific Games will provide new digital platforms and high-performance instant games created by UK-based SG Studios and partner studios around the world through the SG Content Hub and Partner Program.

On February 1, as the exclusive scratch card provider for the National Lottery, Scientific Games kicked off its renowned Scientific Games Enhancement Partnership program, which features advanced portfolio planning, logistics and distribution of existing scratch card games as well as new scratch card games. data and is created and produced by the company. In-building operations use a minimal, energy-efficient waste-to-landfill recycling process, certified to Forest Steward Council standards. Scientific Games’ field service vehicles in the UK are all-electric and the company uses an internationally recognized sustainable courier service for deliveries to National Lottery retailers.
