Sony Pictures Core launches on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles: what is it about?

Console distributor and production company Sony Pictures Entertainment and PlayStation announced their new collaboration to delight its users and offer access to some of the best-selling films from the PS5 and PS4 consoles.

The Bravia Core application is a platform for flow which has a wide variety of classic films from its production company. As reported by the official PlayStation website, it will now be called Sony Pictures Core and starting today it will be available for download on the latest generation consoles.

As soon as you get this platform and register, you can buy, rent and access a catalog of more than 2,000 films directly.

The launch will include several blockbuster titles such as ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’, ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, ‘Uncharted, The Equalizer’, ‘No Hard Feelings’, ‘Bullet Train’ and ‘Ghostbusters , among others.

According to the company, in certain markets such as the UK, France, Germany and Japan, the first film with early access will be ‘Gran Turismo’, a film based on the true story of a team of runners.

In other regions, the latest title is now available in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and will be released in additional markets soon.

Additionally, by purchasing the film through Sony Pictures Core, the company confirms that you will receive credits towards in-game purchases, including some exclusive cars.

On the other hand, if you’re a PlayStation Plus, Premium, or Deluxe member, you’ll have a curated catalog of up to 100 movies to order upon order.
