The Gúdar-Javalambre Business Association has presented its 2023 awards, which this year were awarded to several companies in the region with a long family history. Therefore, the Business Excellence Award was awarded to Hermanos Alvir Martínez CB; The Award for Business and Career Initiatives was given to Hermanos Arnau Fuertes SL, while Hermanos Doñate Peiró CB received the Badge of Honor from the Association “for its unconditional support for the Gúdar Javalambre region”, as explained by the group. Plus a Special Mention to José Vicente Solaz for his working career and maintenance of the bakery trade in the small towns of the region.
The award was presented at the association’s annual meeting banquet, which took place at the Hotel la Fonda de la Estación, in the municipality of La Puebla de Valverde, and at the event the agreement with Caja Rural de Teruel was renewed. .
The award was presented by the Minister of Environment and Tourism of the Government of Aragon, Manuel Blasco; the president of the Teruel Provincial Council, Joaquín Juste; president of the Gúdar-Javalambre Business Association, Juan Carlos Escuder, and José Cuevas, president of Caja Rural de Teruel, which is the sponsor of several award funds.
At the Assembly, the accounts and activities of the association were presented for 2023 and the association’s new website, rebranded and modernized, was presented to the members, www.gudarjavalambre.com.
Next, a presentation was made about operational assistance for companies in the provinces of Teruel, Soria and Cuenca. Responsible for teaching is José Antonio Herce, graduate and doctor of economics from the Complutense University of Madrid and Master of Arts in economics from the University of Essex (England), who is in charge of carrying out studies for the implementation of this assistance. .
More than 150 people attended the event, from various sectors, such as business, politics or universities. Among them are representatives of Caja Rural de Teruel, the Teruel Chamber of Commerce, CEOE Teruel or Cepyme Teruel, as well as other entities and institutions.
