The UK is rocked by disappearances that are getting stranger by the day.
On Friday January 27, mother of two Nicola Bulley (45) went for her usual morning walk with her dog.
There was nothing to suggest that today would be the start of a great mystery, and a fateful time for his loved ones.
The reason is, the mother of two children never came home again.
– I can’t leave my girls without giving them an answer, says Bulley’s partner, Paul Ansell, desperately Sky News.
He says daughters miss their mothers a lot.
Connect to Teams
Surveillance cameras at the residence show Bulley leaving with her two children and driving them to school. Then, at 9:01 a.m., he walked into Tim’s meeting with the office and walked out with his dog.
A witness observed him on a trail along the River Wyre at St Michaels in Lancashire with his dog at 9.10am. All tracks end here.
25 minutes later, the dog and his phone were found on a bench along the riverbank. The phone is still connected to the Teams meeting.
– It’s as if we were stuck in a nightmare, Bulle’s sister, Louise Cunningham, told Sky News on Thursday.
Despite extensive searches both in and along the river, no finds were found. On Monday, an international private dive team with high-tech sonar contributed to the search.
– Disappeared into thin air
– It’s as if he just disappeared, the sister told Sky News.
The family said they felt like they were going in circles. They’re trying to figure out what might be going on, and put together the pieces that might provide an answer.
– We just want the house. We need it at home. Kids need it. This is truly heartbreaking, said the sister.
Paul Ansell and Nicola Bulley have been together for 12 years. He says he played every imaginable scenario in his head without getting any wiser.
– I don’t know how I can handle it. “I’m focused on how I can support the girls,” he told Sky News on Friday.
Tennis ball theory
The sister said police and the local community had made an extraordinary effort, while Bulle’s friend, Emma White, said police were keeping information.
– There is nothing to suggest that Bulley was exposed to any crime, the police stated one of them pers conference.
Police have a theory that Bulley may have fallen into the river, and have a hypothesis that the dog may have chased a tennis ball found nearby, and pulled the woman into the river.
– Our life is completely empty now. We asked the police to investigate extensively, and anyone who might have information to report it, said the sister.
They hoped Bulley was still alive, and asked him to come home.
– There are two small children waiting for their mother, said Cunningham.
