Andréa Meyer and Hanne Englund, who were both killed in Kongsberg on October 13 last year, had telephone conversations together during the same period that Englund was killed.
– We believe that Hanne Englund was assaulted by the defendant at 6:32 p.m. or 6:33 p.m., said lead investigator Jarl Ausland during the trial against Espen Andersen Bråthen on Thursday.
Hanne Englund (56) lives in Hyttegata and is friends with Andréa Meyer (52). They were two of the five people Bråthen killed in Kongsberg on October 13 last year.
Ausland said at the Buskerud District Court that a telephone conversation had been registered between the two women, which began at 6:24 p.m., and lasted 9 minutes 34 seconds.
– Conversation ends around 6:33 PM. It is during this period of time that we believe that Hanne Englund was attacked. Therefore, it is possible that they spoke together on the phone during the attack. Their cell phones were also found by them, Ausland said.
Hanne Englund was found with knife wounds in the ceramic workshop where she lived on Hyttegata 23.
It has previously been revealed that Espen Andersen Bråthen, after he attacked Englund, went to Hyttegata where he encountered Meyer who walked towards his friend’s house and attacked him.
