On April 10 this year, Martin Peter Weir, 26, went to eat at the Mersey View Inn in Halebank in England.
The dinner ended fatally for the 26-year-old, who worked as a mason.
According to the local newspaper Liverpool Echo Martin was in the process of devouring his food, when he stuffed a piece of meat down his throat.
Can’t swallow
When the ambulance arrived at the scene, the 26-year-old woman’s heart stopped.
The young man was rushed to Whiston Hospital on Merseyside.
Drawn into the wood chipper
There he was put on a ventilator and given adrenaline, but his life could not be saved.
A forensic hearing was held this week, where it was determined that the death was an accident.
During the trial, it was discovered that the 26-year-old man had a condition that affected his ability to swallow, local newspapers wrote.

According to Assistant Coroner Johanna Thompson, the choking episode was not something Weir did on purpose.
He also said there was no way for Martin to know this was going to happen.
– It was an accident, he said.
The medical examiner determined that Martin died of a heart attack from asphyxiation.

The 26-year-old was buried on Wednesday 18 May. In a memorial, the family wrote that they would always miss him.
