In recent days, the weather over much of Great Britain has brought Britons and tourists alike to the country’s many beaches and seaside resorts.
On Sunday, a black BMW also cooled off in the sea at Trevaunance Cove in Cornwall in southwest England.
According to a local resident, the driver had been going back and forth on the beach and taking pictures. The person then parked his car along the beach.
When the tide comes, the vehicles disappear into the sea.

Several beachgoers helped passengers out of the car, before a man tried to pull the sedan ashore – but to no avail.

The Coast Guard was later contacted, he wrote BBC.
– The tourists are literally on the shoreline taking pictures for Instagram. I actually feel sorry for them, one local business owner told the broadcaster.
On Facebook, the St Agnes Coast Guard Search & Rescue Team has shared a video and some photos of the floating BMW.
– We remain on site while rescue work is carried out and vehicles are moved, they wrote Facebookand ends with a touch of humor:
– You can’t park here, sir!
“Season of idiots has begun”
In the comments section, the jokes are not waiting:
“Someone forgot to inform the tide that BMW owners can park anywhere,” wrote one Facebook user.
According to others, this isn’t the first time a car has ended up in the sea in Cornwall:
“I can’t believe this happens every year! How is it going? You should be fined if your car ends up in the sea.”
“BMW…. That’s enough,” claimed a third.
“Ah, idiot season has finally begun,” wrote one user, followed by several laughing faces.

Maggie Howells of Her Majesty’s Coast Guard (HMCG) told the BBC the position of the car in the water complicated rescue efforts.
