Adviser for the economic and commercial affairs of the Dominican embassy in the UK, Wagner Méndez, win first place at a golf tournament held at the Brenton Hall club in the town of Witham.

Méndez participated with the aim of socializing with various participants who were invited by the representative of the Ministry of Tourism in London, Sabrina Cambiaso.

He emphasized that his main interest in participating was basically interact with business people in the tourism sector and provide support on behalf of the Dominican embassy.

He said it was a great honor, and that with their participation and victory, a greater impact can be made on tourism from the country.

The competition called “Caribbean Golf Day” It is carried out with the aim of promoting and enhancing tourism in the Caribbean, in which various tourism promotion agencies participate.

He explained that the tournament was held in stableford mode and Méndez had accumulated 42 individual points to become the individual champion. The winning team earned a total of 93 points for an individual average of 23 points per player.

Méndez is an agricultural economist specializing in marketing and entrepreneurship.
