A British citizen fulfills the dream of every loyal follower of ‘The Simpsons’: to earn money by watching episodes of the iconic animated series.
Alexander Townley, 26, is a “loyal fan” of ‘The Simpsons’ and was lucky enough to be the envy of many viewers of the popular American series, after announcing that he was paid $6,804 to watch and analyze all episodes.
“About 10 people share messages with me because all my friends and family know my unhealthy obsession with this series“Townley told Jam Press, and picked up the New York Post. “I was asked to critically analyze every episode and I enjoy the free vegan donuts that are sent to me every week, who doesn’t love that?”, added.
However, even though getting paid to watch television might seem like a dream job, the young man said that not everything is fun. “It’s not as simple as watching a few episodes and lounging on the couch,” insists Townley, who works at the coffee shop during the day. “I have to sit down with a notepad and pen and jot down every little detail, even the opening credits with chalkboard sequences and couch jokes.”
He assured that for several weeks he had seen up to 30 chapters in one dayseveral days in a row. The goal is to search for anything related to the future in the series, which is linked to countless ‘prophecies’, from 9/11 to the coronavirus pandemic.. Every time you find one, you send it to your employer, PlatinCasino.
