In conjunction with the festival marking the opening of the new Generalhagen, England’s getting talent winner Viggo Venn will be entertaining on Harstad’s new outdoor stage. The show is a collaboration between Harstad Standup Festival and the municipality of Harstad.
– Veggo Venn opened the ball with us at the Arena Nord-Norge at the standup festival, and since we were so lucky to have him here, we thought it would be fun to share it with the rest of the city, said Petter Ytterstad at the Harstad Stand.
The standup festival has received several inquiries from families with children wondering if it would be possible to organize a family show. Since they didn’t have the opportunity to do so, they contacted the municipality, who were very positive about the possibility of cooperation.
– I hope that attendees can wear a reflective vest under their jackets and take it off when Viggo Venn goes on stage.

Taking England by storm
The professional juggler takes England by storm with his hilarious and unpredictable moves.
– She has been doing stand-up in her own style for years, and is especially good at staggering, but still recognizable numbers. It’s really a spoon to bring it here. When he was interviewed he said he had a lot of touring business in England… and then he would go to Harstad, said Ytterstad
The festival starts on Thursday 31 August and lasts for four days. The program is large and varied. In addition to Viggo Venn, there will be Army music bands, church services, choirs, bands, quizzes and some training features.
– We still have a few vacant places, so if anyone wants to show off, just call, concluded deputy mayor Espen Ludvigsen.
